Application Process:
Students will need to apply through the university's official website. They will need to log in, select their chosen programme, and insert any needed documents, and entry Requirements for their subject.
Entry and Programme Requirements:
Undergraduate students must meet the spicific Requirements for their chosen course.
You will be qualified for entrance to New Zealand Universities in 2025 if you have obtained the following
NCEA:
NCEA Level 3
Three approved subjects
14 credits per approved subject at Level 3
Literacy requirement:
10 credits at Level 2 or above, made up of 5 credits in reading and 5 credits in writing
Numeracy requirement:
10 credits at Level 1 or above, made up of achievement standards in a range of subjects; or all three numeracy unit standards 26623, 26626 and 26627
Programme entry requirements for 2025
You must meet the admission requirements for your programme(s) of study.
In addition to achieving university entrance, some of our undergraduate programmes require you to have taken specific subjects and gained minimum credits in certain subjects. Some programmes have other requirements such as a portfolio, audition and/or interview.

Cambridge:
120 points in the NZ CI tariff needed for UE
A D grade or better in syllabuses from at least three different syllabus groups (excluding Thinking Skills)

Part B: Literacy and Numeracy requirements:
Literacy
Literacy can be met by gaining an E grade or better in one of the following:
AS English Language
AS Language and Literature in English
AS Literature in English
AS English General
Or
Meeting the literacy requirement for University Entrance with NCEA
Meeting the standard literacy requirement through an alternative approved English test as outlined in the Minimum undergraduate English-language requirements.

Numeracy
Numeracy can be met by:
Gaining a D grade (or higher) in IGCSE or GCSE Mathematics
Passing any mathematics subject at AS level
OR Meeting the numeracy requirement for University Entrance with NCEA

In addition to achieving University Entrance, some of our undergraduate programmes have additional requirements. These requirements are specific to the programme and can include one or more of the following:
Having passed specific subjects
Having gained a certain number of credits in specific subjects
